I am Ana, a painter and mixed media artist in Calgary, Canada. I have been creating art and pursuing creative endeavours most of my life.
I work mostly with acrylic paints, but I love exploring how different mediums can be incorporated onto my work: inks, watercolours, printing, image transfers, drawing, sewing and crocheted pieces.

I focus on abstraction in art and love mostly colours, patterns, and texture. For the last year I have been refocusing into abstract non-representational art - that concentrates on feelings and emotions and depicts memories through mark making, patterning and the use of colour.

My art has been displayed on several group shows throughout Calgary.
I believe that with art I can express our feelings and help people discover theirs. Art should be accessible to all people.
